Our recently departed LTHS football coach seems to have changed his name in 2007. I had noticed in another document that all LTISD teachers are required to sign regarding student confidentiality he signed his name as “Coach Dicus.”
Cody Garrett at the Texas Observer has recently written an article about the LTISD’s attack against me for exercising my rights to ask that my government provide information regarding how my tax dollars are being spent.
I certainly hope that Miss Thompson will take time from her speaking engagement to enlighten the LTISD “Team of Eight” about “what’s important in life!” I doubt that they would listen anyway, they already have enough “integrity” or so they say.
I have to say that the Eanes ISD’s “2007 ANNUAL REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY” is very interesting reading.
The first thing that strikes you about the Eanes ISD’s “2007 ANNUAL REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY” is that they are “Engaging!”. They say it at least nine times in their five page report. (more…)
By the looks of the web site stats, the LTISD is my greatest web site supporter!
I launched a new and improved look to this web site on January 1, 2008. Between January 1, 2008 and January 12, 2008, the LTISD accounted for over 30% of all site hits! Contrast this to my second highest reader with only 5.6% of the site’s hits!
The LTISD Information Web Site has undergone a format change!
Responding to numerous criticisms regarding the “readability” of my earlier web site, I have invested the time to convert the site over to a different “blog” like format.
I have recently received the 2007-2008 LTISD Student DirectoryTPIA and have made a copy available for free (better than paying the LTHS PTA for a copy of this public information). You can get a copy in Acrobat© (PDF) format, or view in HTML format.
A recent comment during the August 13 Board meeting by Bob Hart revealed the numbers
The statement of work shows the material to be included in this report.TPIA Having already seen the presentation, it is an interesting report and can enlighten anyone about a lot of facts in our community, not just about the LTISD. You can download part of it on the district’s web page, but from what I have heard, you really want to ask them for a copy of the notebook material they have distributed to the Attendance Boundary Committee.
