Did you know that the TEA found that the LTISD violated student confidentiality? Yet Again!

Well, the LTSID has demonstrated again, that they are incapable of maintaining student confidentiality.

There are some some requirements imposed on the district by their their own written policies as well as applicable state and federal law. But it would appear that these legal requirements don’t apply to the LTISD.

Did you read the LTISD’s response to the facts regarding their loss in that senseless attempt to silence a parent and tax payer?

Speaking of “polishing a turd!” Have you read the latest LTISD response to my web site comments regarding their loss. Not to mention their wasteful expenditure of OUR tax dollars? In the end, the LTISD only makes a bigger mess and they end up smelling really bad.

Did you know about Susan Bohn’s pay raise?

And we thought Rocky got big pay raises in such short time frames! How interesting!

Let’s start off with the District’s decision to hire an in house legal counsel since they were being subjected to “abuse of governmental processes.” The LTISD announced Susan’s pending hire in November 2006 saying that it would be for only $96,124/year*.

My wife was told that unless she allow her driver’s license to be scanned she would not be granted access to our son at school.

Did you know that I am going to try to get around the recently revised restrictions made to the Texas Public Information Act?

So says Christopher B. Gilbert, of the law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani. He said so during oral arguments before the Third Court of Appeals in the continuation of the district’s earlier loss in District Court.
