Well, the LTSID has demonstrated again, that they are incapable of maintaining student confidentiality.
There are some some requirements imposed on the district by their their own written policies as well as applicable state and federal law. But it would appear that these legal requirements don’t apply to the LTISD.
Just like the LTISD! Is this the sort of issue that the LTISD Board wants to promote as having already taken the lead?
Yes, Chris Gilbert of Bracewell & Giuliani charged the district for 2 hours of his time ($600) to research if an “amateur radio license qualified as a “radio station” for purposes of HB2564.”TPIA
I suspected for some time now that J. David Thompson (the super duper Bracewell and Giuliani lawyer who hallucinates about ‘abuse of governmental processes.’) was a lobbyist for the LTISD. (more…)
Remember that senseless persecution that was tossed out of District court in about 45 minutes?
Remember how the LTISD continued their reckless waste of our tax dollars to appeal their fabricated “abuse of governmental processes?”
Speaking of “polishing a turd!” Have you read the latest LTISD response to my web site comments regarding their loss. Not to mention their wasteful expenditure of OUR tax dollars? In the end, the LTISD only makes a bigger mess and they end up smelling really bad.
And we thought Rocky got big pay raises in such short time frames! How interesting!
Let’s start off with the District’s decision to hire an in house legal counsel since they were being subjected to “abuse of governmental processes.” The LTISD announced Susan’s pending hire in November 2006 saying that it would be for only $96,124/year*.
Well, at least that is what we have recently been told.
My wife was told that unless she allow her driver’s license to be scanned she would not be granted access to our son at school.
So says Christopher B. Gilbert, of the law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani. He said so during oral arguments before the Third Court of Appeals in the continuation of the district’s earlier loss in District Court.
