Joe Smith over at the TexasISD.com writes about “The longevity of Texas public school superintendents.” He notes that “Studies show that superintendent tenure has remained relatively static over the past 30 years.”
Joe goes on to say:
I call this issue the “less green grass theory” – When the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence, there is no reason to go there.”
Interesting. Then Rocky Kirk has truly found his gold mine here and won’t be leaving soon! I doubt anyone else would hire Rocky with his track record of “academically acceptable” ratings.
