LTISD Info

The Hill Country News published “LISD confidential records may have been accessed by public” on July 7, 2009 followed by “Security breach at Leander school Web site” (link no longer available) published by the Austin American-Statesman July 16, 2009.

Our school districts play fast and loose with confidential data as I have found out on numerous occasions. And from the looks of these articles about the Leander ISD and even a report paid for by the LTISD, there is more documented evidence.

The LTISD doesn’t just discriminate against students and parents when violating confidentiality, they even violate the confidentiality of their employees as well!

The LTISD doesn’t need a web site to breach confidentiality, they just let Susan Tolles, the LTISD school Board President do it for them!

And we wonder why the district is embroiled in a law suit over confidentiality?
