Unless you were one of the few attendees of  “Leadership Lake Travis”  you were probably unaware about the following facts:

• The district has been formulating their plans for a tax rollback election as far back as December 4, 2008. During the “Leadership Lake Travis” session on “Finance & Current and Future Growth” the district pitched the reasoning for their imminent plans to fleece the tax payers of more money.^TPIA

Why weren’t the rest of us privy to this information?

Just who else knew about this and who did Rocky and the Board send out to float this bad idea?

• The district has been considering another “bond election” for May or November 2010.^TPIA

Note that the 2007-2008 class of “Leadership Lake Travis” was told that another “bond election” was considered for as early as 2009!^TPIA

Just when will the district decide to send out the Party Idealogues to tell the rest of us to “drink the kool-aid” and throw more money into the toilet? Of course they will tell you that it is “for the children,” but we know better.

For some reason, our district takes in more tax dollars per student than many other districts, yet cannot reach the same level of achievement.

I know, Rocky needs another raise! NOT!
