During the March 27, 2008 Board meeting, the district revealed:

Authorize administration to negotiate and execute an agreement with Triton Financial, LLC, for the donation of artificial turf at the high school stadium.

Not only that, but the board needed to waive provisions of CDC(LOCAL) regarding sponsorship.

Well, the Board’s first mistake was to authorize Rocky and the rest of the administration to negotiate and execute an agreement. Letting Susan Bohn near anything like this is like giving a monkey a loaded gun and not expecting to get shot. Remember the Grumbels incident and how it was handled?

Well, they screwed it up alright, the generous donation offer fell through.

You can read all about the terms and conditions that the district tried to impose in documents obtained though the Texas Public Information Act.TPIA

Looking though these documents I found something else that was interesting:

Gary Wrinkle’s name pops up. This time in an email from Jack Moss (Note: Kirk-Moss-Wrinkle triad) writing:

“I have attached the proposed drawing for the front gate to the stadium entrance. We would need this on both sides of the stadium, i.e. Home and Visitors. Originally when I was working on this Gary Wrinkle was going to do the iron work and at minimal charge or maybe no charge. I would have to ask him again. He is very good and does this type of work in many of the upscale homes in the area.”

And I thought that Gary Wrinkle was persona non grata with Rocky?
