Did you know what Jim Cummings said during the March 2008 Board meeting?

You would think that the LTISD has finally discovered that parents have rights and that parents are an integral part of their child’s education?

Just how many of our tax dollars were spent in senseless lawsuits to teach the LTISD Board that parents have such rights?

Right on the heals of Rocky’s comments that parents have the right to complain to the Superintendent and the Board, Jim Cummings says:

“I would be amiss to not compliment parents for not being a really important part of your children’s success. An involved parent does mean a much higher degree of success in students and I really want to compliment you for being involved with your students.” - Jim Cummings, March 27, 2008 LTISD Board Meeting
