Yes he did!

Can you believe that Mayo was “guilty of professional misconduct and should be publicly reprimanded?”

Here is some text of the “Findings of Fact” from the “Agreed Judgment and Public Reprimand:”

(1) Respondent is an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

(2) The complainant contracted with the Respondent in December 1991 for general representation in various matters to include the theft of her cattle, the repurchase of a foreclosed nome, payment of various bills and the disposition of numerous insufficient checks.

(3) Respondent neglected to maintain complete records of client funds placed in his trust account.

(4) Respondent failed to render a timely accounting to Complainant of these trust funds and their disbursement.

(5) It is further AGREED and ORDERED that Respondent shall, concurrent with his execution of this Agreed Judgment, pay State Bar attorney’s fees of $500.00 by certified or cashier’s check made payable to the General Counsel, State Bar of Texas, 400 West 15th Street, Suite 1500, Austin, Texas.

Imagine that, Mayo was publicly reprimanded by his peers, the State Bar of Texas, for neglect and failure regarding “funds” and “accounting.”

Mayo Say it isn’t so!

A thing like this could cause people to question Mayo’s ethics and integrity.

Remember “integrity” is the LTISD Board’s most abused word.

Mayo, this revelation might cause us to be suspicious of your ability to make the right decisions regarding the spending of OUR tax dollars.

I am sure that Mayo has a long history of paying his taxes. Don’t you Mayo? Of course you do.

I am sure that Mayo will be more than willing to tell us just how much he has paid as his fair share of the tax burden.

Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to ask Mayo again if he can substantiate his libelous claims that he printed about me? I bet he can’t. Oh no, Mayo sticks his foot in his big mouth again!

Not to worry, we all know that Mayo is a “loud mouthed schnook,” but now we know him as a “publicly reprimanded, loud mouthed schnook!”

I can’t say that I am too suprised by this revelation, but I am sure that there is more to follow…
