LTISD Info

This just in and ready for your inspection. I recently received this document from another concerned citizen who obtained these updated numbers from the LTISD^TPIA.

Imagine that, someone else who makes TPIA requests to the LTISD!

I wonder if the board will sue them next?

How dare they participate in “abuse of governmental processes!”

Do you think the numbers warrant a bond election next year?

I heard Mayo say that “we are heading into an active bond mode soon …” at a recent Board Workshop.

What do you think the LTISD will use to justify their request?

Do we need another world class athletic practice facility? Yet at what cost do we remain “academically acceptable?” Hmm…

Looks like the school district is not a “high growth” district like Rocky says after all. Only 4.9% growth this year?! Compare that to the numbers from other districts and you will find that the LTISD’s growth pales in comparison.

Oh well, I doubt it will keep them from going out and telling us that they will need more money or our property values will fall …..

“The committee commented that the real issue comes down to having a viable school district with good facilities and how that impacts property values. Let your school facilities go down and see what that does to your property values the loss in property values will far exceed the increase in property taxes that would have been incurred if the bond issue had been passed.” (Bond Advisory Committee Document)

Let’s look at the new numbers and make some comparisons to last year’s numbers:
