Did you know that Susan Bohn was hired to “to help manage and respond to voluminous Public Information Act requests and complaints”?

If you read the press release from the LTISD on November 3, 2006, you will find that Ms. Bohn was hired away from the law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani “to help manage and respond to voluminous Public Information Act requests and complaints.”

But a recent response to my August 1, 2007 TPIA requests were not answered by Ms. Bohn, but by attorney Erica Escobar of the Bracewell & Giuliani law firm.

Note that connection, you hire away one of their lawyers then next thing you know, they are representing you in everything. Funny how that happens…

I recently saw Ms. Bohn at the August 13 Board meeting. Is she leaving the district? If not, why the outside legal help, again?

I thought that Ms. Bohn was brought on board to help stem the self-inflicted hemorrhaging of our tax dollars to outside law firms? At least that is the message implied by the LTISD press release.

What happened?

Is Susan too busy working on all of the other LTISD legal issues brought on by the “Team of 8″ also known as the “Gang of Eight”?

Just what has Rocky and the Board done to take up all of her time?

Did the LTISD Board feel a need to continue to waste our tax dollars on outside lawyers again? Why?

Is this a vote of “no confidence” in Susan?

Did you know that the LTISD is looking for a “Director of Communications”?

Is Ms. Loe leaving the LTISD? I just saw her at the August 13 Board meeting. You can read all about the requirements for the job on the LTISD web site.

Is this another case of someone “hitting the eject button, leaving the rest to endure the fiery heat of re-entry?”

Who’s next?
