I received a letter from Ms. Bohn, the LTISD General Counsel alleging that I have violated an LTISD copyright by referencing their new logo.
My attorney replied to her and provided her with some much needed education on copyright law.
I would also like to take this time to explain to Ms. Bohn that she should place the LTISD address on the certified mail return receipt card, or else the post office will have no choice but to send it back to me.
Ms. Bohn, the LTISD spent a lot of money not only in your wasted time, but in the cost of postage. She has a difficulty comprehending the use of the postal system. (See my earlier information release concerning Ms. Bohn and mail).
Let’s ask some fundamental questions of the LTISD:
What business does a publicly funded entity have with a copyright anyway?
As the tax payers who helped to pay for this logo shouldn’t we have the ability to freely use it?
